A Unique Farm Stay
The location of the River House & Cabin is along the Shuswap River between Grindrod and Enderby (Between 20-30min drive from Vernon, Salmon Arm and Sicamous). The property provides cozy accommodations just steps away from the river with access to a huge fire pit for evenings spent in the fresh air. Come escape and enjoy all the Shuswap has to offer.
Meet Your Hosts
Our names are Steve and Melissa Hammer. We purchased this property in 2015 when falling in love with everything about it. The River House was built in the 1890s by the Emeny family where they raised their family of eight prior to building a vertical log home on the property, which unfortunately was lost to a fire in 2021.
Since purchasing the homestead, we have been busy non-stop restoring and re-loving all the corners of the builds and property. We are also passionate travellers and we love to meet new people. Steve and Melissa are excited to share their beloved River House and the Cabin along with the rest of the property!
